More closeups

Fledgling cardinal

Yes, it's true, I'm now obsessed with getting close-up shots...but aren't these worth it?

Lo's impatiens

I've been trying to get a decent picture of the cardinal for days now. Hope to be able to follow it as it gets adult feathers & grows up.

Have taken several pictures of Lo's roses but unfairly missed the impatiens....

I do apologize for making these "thumbnails" so awfully large (the download time must be monstrous), but just can't resist. Never mind that you can get the full-size image with a click. Am just more into taking the pictures these days, not writing about 'em. If I could've gotten away with posting just the pictures, I would've, but the page just didn't look right without any text.

Backyard flower

If you check out the full yellow flower photo, you'll see that that black speck isn't dirt or a dust speck on the lens but a bonus the camera managed to capture.

Upsy-daisy Buffy

BTW, that shot of Buffy isn't trick photography nor did I flip the image 180°. It was just a silly cat acting too cute for words...or perhaps practicing for a major modeling career...she was just in the midst of begging for a good head or chin scratching.......
