A day in Saugatuck

The day after Labor Day, Lois & Mac took me down to Saugatuck, about 30 miles or so south of here. It was my first visit to this prized lakeside resort community...which, with its art galleries, quaint shops & gourmet restaurants, resembled nothing so much as good old New Hope, Pa., or perhaps Provincetown, Mass.
