Dunes at Rosy Mound

Lois & I managed a Sunday walk through Rosy Mound early this afternoon. Although there's lots of color in the trees all over town, there's much less out on the lakeshore itself, perhaps because it's always a few degrees warmer there & less likely to get the necessary hard frost than even a mile inland. It was a perfectly beautiful sunny day for a fall stroll — many others joined us on the trail.
