Photo update
Snow, snow and more snow, that's what's been happening. Oh, it's not like a whole lot at once, not like what you get in the mountains or up in Buffalo, but when 2-4 inches falls on a daily basis, it has a way of adding up, you know? Last year it did this through January; this year it's the latter half of February. But today alone we've gotten about 6 inches, so far, with more to come overnight. At least, temps are in the 20s & low 30s, instead of the teens.
Meanwhile, last week I took a decent photo of a small hawk that sat in the spiraea for quite a while (over an hour). It wasn't a random spot, since the small birds that frequent my feeders often hang out there, and I worried that it was targeting them, but I believe it left without securing a meal. And Rosemary, my poor Rosemary, peaked in her glorious flowering just before the weekend and then her blooms began to dry out one by one 'til all have just about faded away today — luckily, I managed to get some good closeups of her before then.
